Her attention to detail and customized approach has brought her numerous awards. She has executed business and private events from 25 to 500 attendees and her gracious, calm style is what guests remember. Lynn is also a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology and brings her vast knowledge of couture sewing and garment design to A Splash of Elegance clients. From the reconstruction of a vintage wedding gown into a new bride’s vision, or a bridesmaid dress that mirrors the same design elements as the bridal gown, Lynn provides quality design to every project. Lynn and her husband, John, live in Great Falls, Virginia. Kim Newton Kim is especially adept at creating special events for younger adults. While attending Radford University, she found her passion for event planning, and then moved to the Ashburn area to pursue her dream of making weddings and events the most memorable and wonderful day of her clients’ lives. Being younger herself, Kim identifies with the younger bride’s point of view. Kim has provided planning and logistical support for grand openings, fundraisers, foundation events, weddings and bar and bat mitzvahs. She has experience ensuring that each client’s event marks a memorable affair, while working within all types of budgets. Julie Daniel A bi-lingual (English/Spanish) native Washingtonian, Julie Daniel kindled her love for event planning while working on political campaigns. During this time she gained extensive knowledge of planning fundraisers and campaign events large and small. She brings to her weddings and events a love of decor and design that she developed while taking interior design classes at the Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washington, DC. Her extensive travels throughout Mexico and South America allow Julie to incorporate rich traditions into her weddings and events. Julie is also passionate about teaching children and instilling in them an appreciation for etiquette and manners.		Martha Wiles Professional Bridal Consultant™ Martha was helping friends with their weddings, planning events for non-profits and her community long before the title of Professional existed. Once the opportunity presented itself to be an accredited bridal consultant, Martha was happy to complete the course work. With experience and expertise, a gentle Southern charm, and a history of successful weddings and events, Martha is a premier professional planner for any social gathering. Martha, along with her husband, Tom, owned and operated a successful wedding and event venue in Middle Tennessee before moving back to McLean, Virginia. “Working with people and assisting with the days that are special to them is a joy.” Lindsay Cameron Lindsay joins A Splash of Elegance after many years of planning non-profit events and fundraising campaigns in cities across the country. Her events have ranged from intimate and understated to large celebrations with elaborate décor. No matter the size, Lindsay’s invaluable experience in budgeting and creativity will ensure your wedding day becomes a flawless celebration, incorporating your unique sense of style and personal priorities. A graduate of Virginia Tech, Lindsay and her husband, Jason, live in Alexandria, where Jason serves in the United States Coast Guard. Jill Geary Jill has expanded into wedding and event planning and is pleased to be working as a consultant with A Splash of Elegance. As the owner of Bridal Expressions based in Leesburg, Jill enjoys using her talents to help provide the beauty each bride envisions for her special day. Her headpieces and veils range from the very traditional to the very contemporary, and are designed to suit each bride’s individual taste. With a Bachelor of Arts in vocal music, Jill has over 20 years experience in the bridal arena, and creates beautiful musical memories for wedding ceremonies and receptions, as well as for corporate and private events. Deb Merriner Deb joins A Splash of Elegance with an excitement to share with brides her knowledge about the “proper care and feeding of marriage.” As the proud mother of five daughters, Deb and her husband, Bob, have learned over the past 35 years how to make a beautiful marriage work. Deb has assisted many a bride down the aisle, and after owning and operating a small gift and incentive business in the Annandale area, she has chosen to focus on the business of brides. Deb is happy to offer her gift and incentive albums through A Splash of Elegance. A Pittsburgh native, Deb brings her calm spirit into any wedding or event.
